Erin Buku is a singer, songwriter, producer and DJ making waves in the underground circuit with a brand new sound! Based on Peramangk country in Adelaide, her music is paving the way for Nu Soul! A delightful blend of RnB, Neo Soul and Hip-Hop with a conscious message that takes cues anywhere from UK broken beat to 90’s Pop! Her debut EP in 2022 on Hopestreet Recordings received critical acclaim from Triple J, KCRW in LA and BBC in the UK. In 2022 she collaborated with legendary emcee Talib Kweli, and played the festival circuit including Wide Open Space Festival in Alice Springs and Wondermountain Festival in Beechworth. Her new offering 'The Way' is a self produced call to action of political individuality ahead of her new album dropping early 2024 on her own imprint Inner Tribe Records. Erin brings forth an unfiltered introspective song writing skillset paired with ethereal boom bap soul production. Will be of particular interest to fans of Cleo Sol, Noname, Greentea Peng, Jorja Smith and Blimes Brixton. Erin is launching her new single in her hometown of Adelaide of September 23 at the Queens Theatre.
